Temptations were excellent
We really don’t need audience participation at a concert venue. I know we all know all the words to all these favorite songs, but we didn’t pay to hear those around us singing them.
The Four Tops part of the performance was sub par. The songs were great but it was more of a night club performance than a concert. The performance by the Temptations was very good. We really enjoyed hearing all this wonderful music. The sound guy did an excellent job of not letting the orchestra overbear the vocals.
The ushers (senior volunteers) took their job of policing folks camera phones way too seriously. They created more of a distraction and actually blocked our view of the stage several times.
